Bringin' It: Tuesday's Top 5 Minn. sports storylines

The only storylines that can save our collective sports minds this fine Tuesday are The Big Hrbowski and the Brock.

So much to choose from, but only five slots. This will be difficult on this fine Tuesday, but we press onward:

1) Let's start with the obvious. It ain't over quite yet, but the fat lady is warming up her voice. After losing to Sacramento last night, the Timberwolves are now five games under .500, and are 4.5 games behind Houston for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.

2) To add injury to insult, Luke Ridnour was carried off the floor last night in that Kings loss, suffering a sprained ankle. He's expected to miss at least one game...maybe more.

3)The Wild are in full spoiler mode tonight. They're in Nashville hoping to put a dent in the Predators' plan to host a first-round playoff series. Even though the Wild won't be in the postseason, coach Mike Yeo says his team won't tank its remaining games to get a better draft choice.

4) God bless the Minnesota Twins and their crack marketing department. Their latest gem is "The Big Hrbowski,"seen here:

5) Out with the Rock and in with the Brock. That's the post-WrestleMania 28 storyline in WWE as it welcomed back Minnesota's Brock Lesnar to the show last night. At the end of RAW, Lesnar got in the ring with John Cena in Miami...and all heck broke loose:
