Bulldogs lose in triple OT, knocked out of D-2 playoffs
The Duluth Bulldogs, winners of two of the past four Division II national football championships, won’t see the second round.
Duluth fell in three overtimes Saturday to Missouri Western, 57-55. As a result, the Bulldogs don't advance in the D2 tournament for the first time in five years.
The Bulldogs are in the same bracket as top seed Minnesota State-Mankato, which had a bye in the first round. Mankato faces Northwest Missouri State next Saturday.
