Bulldogs split series with North Dakota

Minnesota Duluth (19-7-4 and 13-6-3 in WCHA) snapped a two-game losing streak Saturday night in Duluth with a 5-4 victory to split the weekend series against UND (16-11-2 and 12-10). Senior forward Jack Connolly netted two goals and had three assists for the third-ranked Bulldogs. UMD men's hockey travels to Mankato next weekend.

With eight games left in the regular season, the Bulldogs (18-6-4 and 12-5-3 in WCHA) are now three points behind first-place Minnesota; two points ahead of third-place Colorado College and three points ahead of fourth-place Denver. UMD will host fifth-place North Dakota this Friday and Saturday.

UMD Bulldogs shut down on home ice
