Bullpen fails again as Twins drop second straight to Brewers

Minnesota Twins 5

Milwaukee Brewers 10

The Minnesota Twins have lost two straight – again. They fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 10-5 Wednesday night at Miller Park in Milwaukee.

1. Brewers bash the bullpen

The Twins bullpen gave up six runs in just 3 innings of relief Wednesday night. Ryan Pressly was tagged for most of it. He gave up four runs on three hits in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

Chris Carter provided much of the damage with an impressive two-run homer.

2. Road woes

It's hard not to notice the Twins are still winless on the road. After opening the season with nine straight losses that included being swept by both Baltimore and Kansas City, the Twins are now 0-7 away from Target Field.

3. Wasted chances

The Twins had a chance to reclaim the lead in the seventh, but couldn't take advantage of it. Oswaldo Arcia came to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs after already hitting a home run earlier in the game.

But this time, he wasn't able to come through, striking out on three pitches to kill the threat.
