CHICAGO -- Regarding the Vikings-Bears game, when it comes to numbers-behind-the-numbers -- chew on these three:

That's how many dropped passes Minnesota's Jerome Simpson had Sunday. As he told the Star Tribune, "I was terrible." No one in Vikings-land disagrees.

Adrian Peterson had 108 yards rushing, which is fantastic. But was also involved in two costly fumbles, which is a buzzkill. Overall, an odd day for AP, who also missed the team bus to Soldier Field. As for the loss to Chicago, he tells the Pioneer Press, "I can't wait to see them again."

That's how many minutes the Bears had the football Sunday. Do the math, and the Vikings had it for 22:30. The problem? Dropped passes (see above) and the fact that Minnesota's defense couldn't get the Bears off the field, as Chicago converted 11 of 19 third down chances.
