That's the combined minutes defensemen Ryan Suter (41) and Jonas Brodin(34) played in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss. Suter's time on ice set a Wild franchise record for a single game. "Unreal," said forward Zach Parise.
Parise, Mikko Koivu, Charlie Coyle and Suter combined for just five of the Wild's 27 shots in Game 1. The top line has to do more than that, or this series could be over next Tuesday.
That's the Game 1 TV rating in the Twin Cities metro area, the highest ever for Fox Sports North. According to the Business Journal, that topped the previous record of 7.65 for the 2013 season opener against the Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 19.
