Call it a career as NBA great Tim Duncan retires


After 19 seasons and five NBA titles, Tim Duncan's finished,

The San Antonio Spurs superstar is retiring after a career that will surely earn him a first ballot Hall of Fame ticket. San Antonio has been active in the NBA's free-agency period just in case Duncan decided to retire, which has been speculated on for months.


Duncan was the NBA's top draft pick in 1997 out of Wake Forest and became one of the games most consistent players of all time. Duncan goes down as a two-time MVP, three-time Finals MVP, five-time NBA championa a 15-time All-Star.
