Darcy Kuemper's first NHL game came on short-notice Tuesday as Josh Harding -- the scheduled starter -- was taken out of the lineup after telling the team that medication for his multiple sclerosis made him feel a little bit "off."

The Canucks, as they usually do, defeated the Wild in Vancouver by a score of 2-1. Minnesota is now 0-9-2 in their last 11 trips to Vancouver.

Kuemper was beaten once in the first period and again in the second and the Canucks jumped on top of the Wild, 2-0.

Devin Setoguchi, who has played very well over the last five games, put the Wild on the scoreboard with a power play goal at the 13:03 mark in the second period. Mikael Granlund and Matt Cullen assisted on the goal. Setoguchi now has points in three consecutive games.

They went to the third period trailing 2-1, but Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo made a few spectacular saves to hold the Wild from scoring the tying goal.
