Case Keenum is glad to be the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, but he's going to miss his neighbors who kept his driveway free of snow all winter in Minnesota.
"The Minnesota Nice thing, they were great," Keenum told Broncos.com. "They saw me shoveling snow one time and they had my driveway cleared the rest of the year.
"Obviously it's negative degrees there, so we're excited to come here and warm up." (Fast forward to the 3:40 mark in the video for his comments about Minnesota Nice)
How can you not love Keenum? He's been the last pick at recess his entire life. He wasn't highly recruited, went undrafted and even after going 11-3 as the Vikings' starter he was kicked to the curb in favor of Kirk Cousins.
"To have a team pursue me, want me to come be the quarterback, it instills a lot of confidence in me," Keenum told Broncos.com. "I'm excited to represent and step up and make them all believers."
To his doubters, including Mike Zimmer, Keenum says: "I've gotten better each year. I plan on being better. That's something that I try to do every single day."
