Tyler Johnson is set for yet another stellar season with Gophers football.

The Gophers' leading receiver showed no signs of off-season rust as he pulled in a spectacular one-handed grab on Thursday.

The Gophers moved forward their spring game up to Thursday to avoid the weekend weather.

And it prompted fireworks from Johnson, who made 35 catches for 677 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2017, who caused audible gasps as he made the spectacular grab from Tanner Morgan's pass.

Gophers receiver Harbison out for season with torn ACL

One of the most impressive wide receivers in the Gophers's fall camp is out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Gopher football head coach Jerry Kill said Saturday that losing Jamel Harbison was "a big blow." The freshman was a starter in the Gophers' 30-27 triple-overtime opening victory Thursday at UNLV, but left the game in the second quarter and did not return.
