In case you missed it, the Twins unveiled their batting order for Opening Day and hometown boy Joe Mauer is in an unfamiliar spot in the lineup.

Mauer will bat cleanup on Monday against the Royals for the first time since April 30, 2006. Here's what the lineup looked like the last time Mauer hit fourth.

Yes, the last time Mauer hit cleanup, Lew Ford was hitting in front of him; Rondell White was still trying his best to swing a bat and Kyle Lohse was a year removed breaking a hole in Ron Gardenhire's door.

The Twins ended up falling 6-0 to the Detroit Tigers on that day. Let's hope for better luck on Monday.
