Concordia-St. Paul claims another National Championship

For the eighth time in the last 10 years, the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears volleyball team are national champions.

The Golden Bears were top seed in the NCAA Division II tournament and defeated the University of Alaska Seawolves winning in straight sets, 25-19, 25-12 and 25-12.

Concordia posted a ridiculous .443 hitting percentage in the win.

In their last 14 trips to the NCAA tournament, the Golden Bears have posted a phenomenal record of 61-6 and they closed out the year with a 20-game winning streak that dates back to the regular season.

The Golden Bears of Concordia are looking to add to the volleyball dynasty they've quietly built in St. Paul over the last few years. By rallying to beat Tampa, Concordia advanced to the national championship match for the fifth straight year. They'll try to keep their title streak going as they face the hosts of this year's tourney, Cal State-San Bernardino.
