Just one week after his biggest game in more than two seasons, it's looking less likely that Vikings receiver Cordarrelle Patterson will play Monday against Chicago.
Patterson missed practice again Friday after suffering a concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit from a Philadelphia defender last Sunday.
He finished the game with 7 catches for 67 yards and his second touchdown in as many weeks.
Patterson suffered the concussion on the touchdown catch with 34 seconds left in Sunday's game – the hit came from Philadelphia's Rodney McLeod, who was penalized for unnecessary roughness.
If Patterson is unable to play, his absence won't just affect the Vikings offense. He's also the team's kick returner and one of their best players on punt coverage.
The Vikings play at Chicago on Monday night.
