Kevin Correia was named the Twins spring training opening day starter on Wednesday, manager Ron Gardenhire announced. The Twins open Grapefruit League play Saturday against Baltimore. His pregnant wife, rather than pure talent, is the main reason he'll get the first start.

Meanwhile, a new name to keep an eye on is Ryan Pressly. The Rule-5 draft pick was reportedly "nasty" in batting practice on Wednesday.

Bovada.com has released the over/under win totals for MLB teams and they weren't kind to the Twins. The sports gambling site has the Twins win total at 67.5. The only teams getting less respect are the Miami Marlins and Houston Astros.

Even though starter Rich Harden says he's as healthy as he's been in six years, Ron Gardenhire knows Harden's not ready to be plugged into the rotation.

The Twins official website has stepped up to the plate with a new feature that follows the team through spring training camp with short webisodes about every day activities.

They call it "Training Days." You can watch the first episode right here. It takes a look at Glen Perkins' first few days at Hammond Stadium.
