Cuddyer knocked out of Home Run Derby in second round

Former Twins outfielder Michael Cuddyer, now with the Colorado Rockies, was knocked out of the Home Run Derby in the second round Monday night at Citi Field in New York.

Cuddyer slammed seven home runs in the first round and eight more in the second round before being knocked out of contention by Washington Nationals 20-year-old phenom, Bryce Harper.

Harper will battle Oakland's Yoenis Cespedes in the finals. Cespedes smacked 17 homers in the first round.
