Cuma re-signs with Wild

2008 first-round draft pick Tyler Cuma re-signed with the Wild on Tuesday, according to Michael Russo.

Cuma, the 23rd overall selection by the Wild in 2008, inked a one-year, two-way contract.

The 23-year-old defenseman has been bothered by injuries throughout his career, limiting him to just one career game at the NHL level. He had 12 points in 42 games with the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League last season.
