Deer crashes through window at UW-Stout

An 8-point buck being chased by a dog leapt through a window at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and tore down a hallway in the Vocational Rehabilitation building, the Associated Press reports. The animal escaped out an automatic door. One man had a minor injury after scrambling to get out of its way. The deer lost a lot of blood and officials tried to track it, but they never found it.

An 8-point buck being chased by a dog leapt through a window at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Wednesday and tore down a hallway in the Vocational Rehabilitation building, the Associated Press reports. The animal escaped out an automatic door. One man had a minor injury after scrambling to get out of its way. The deer did about $5,500 worth of damage.

The deer lost a lot of blood and officials tried to track the blood trail, but they never found the animal, the Dunn County News reported.
