Delle Donne, Pondexter lift Sky over Lynx

The Minnesota Lynx were handed just their third loss of the season Friday night in Chicago. Elena Delle Donne and Cappie Pondexter combined for 48 points leading the Sky to a 90-83 victory.

Delle Donne finished with 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting, while Pondexter hurt the Lynx from the outside. She, too, finished with 24 points and was a perfect 3-of-3 from behind the arc.

Maya Moore led the Lynx with 29 points, but shooting-wise she did not have her best night. Moore was just 5-of-14 from the three-point line, but she still found a way to keep the Lynx in the game.

Down the stretch she made some big plays as the Lynx cut the Sky lead to four with just under 2:30 to go. Moore wound up finishing with a double-double, as she grabbed 10 boards.

Lindsay Whalen added 15 points and seven assists, while Seimone Augustus scored 13 in the loss.

Minnesota didn't get much from it's bench. Spanish point guard Anna Cruz finished with six points and four rebounds off the bench.
