Detroit Tigers outfielder Delmon Young was back in court Thursday. Young's lawyer told the Associated Press his client is still trying to work out a deal with prosecutors in his alleged hate-crime harassment case. Young is accused of yelling anti-semitic remarks and tackling one victim to the ground outside a New York City hotel in April. He’s due back in court after the World Series.

Tigers outfielder Delmon Young has been suspended seven games by Major League Baseball. Young was arrested in New York over the weekend on a hate crime harassment charge. Commissioner Bud Selig says, "An incident like this cannot and will not be tolerated."
