Did you see it? Mauer crushed a grand slam – and he pulled it

It didn't look good when the Twins were trailing 5-0 early on Sunday to the Blue Jays, but a power surge brought them back and Joe Mauer highlighted the comeback with his fourth career grand slam. 

Previous grand slams hit by Mauer: 

  • June 29, 2007 off Justin Verlander (Tigers)
  • May 21, 2009 off Jimmy Gobble (White Sox)
  • Sept. 1, 2012 off Luke Hochevar (Royals)

For the season, Mauer is hitting .306 with 7 homers and 65 RBI. He's hitting .333 since the All-Star break. 

Minnesota's comeback got started with back-to-back opposite-field home runs by Eddie Rosario and Byron Buxton.
