Dodgers Broadcaster Vin Scully once compared Prince to Kent Hrbek

Vin Scully has been calling baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers for the past 67 years and his delivery; story telling are something any broadcaster hopes to have even a fraction of.

In 1987, while doing a scoreboard update, Scully announced that the Twins had beaten Seatlle 14-4 with Kent Hrbek hitting his 30th home run of the season.

In vintage Vin Scully fashion, he steered away from the baseball game but still kept us engaged with an amazing story on how Hrbek's rise to a household name, was similar to the way Prince had reached the top.
