Vikings general manager Rick Spielman talked extensively about draft prospects during a radio interview on Thursday. Spielman says USC left tackle Matt Kalil is "very nasty when you watch him on tape." Matt Kalil is the perfect fit for Minnesota. Lane Kiffin, Kalil's coach at USC is a Minnesota native and he believes Kalil will fit in well in the land of 10,000 lakes. Kiffin says Kalil's dream vehicle is a Ford truck. "That's what you're getting. He's not going to buy the sports car. He's just a good old lineman."
