Dozier goes deep twice, Twins beat Chicago for the first time this year

It's that time of year again, late June is typically when Brian Dozier gets going. Tuesday night Dozier slugged a pair of home runs and drove in all four Twins runs as Minnesota beat Chicago 4-0.

Dozier finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs and the two home runs.

His heroics combined with a solid pitching performance from Kyle Gibson was enough to help the Twins pick up their fist victory against the White Sox this season.

Gibson tossed seven innings of shutout baseball, holding the White Sox to five hits, while striking out seven.

Ricky Nolasco (3-5) takes the mound on Wednesday night against James Shields for Chicago.
