Durant forgets to switch accounts, bashes former teammates and coach on Twitter

Kevin Durant made an all-time whoopsie with this one.
Publish date:

As if everyone in Oklahoma City didn't hate Kevin Durant enough for leaving last summer, now they're going to really hate him for slamming his ex-teammates and coach on Twitter.

Durant, responding to a fan on Twitter who asked him why he left the Thunder, answered: "He didn't like the organization or playing for Billy Donovan. His roster wasn't that good. It was just him and Russ (Russell Westbrook)."

If you're not laughing already, here's more.

"Imagine taking Russ off that team, see how bad they were," Durant continued. "KD can't win a championship with those cats."

Yes, Durant really did refer to himself in the third person twice. And because he's since deleted the tweets, which you can see below, it's pretty clear that Durant forgot to switch from his personal account to whatever fake account he must be using to defend himself on Twitter.

It gets even juicier when you see the Twitter account believed to be Durant's fake one. If this is Durant behind the tweets, then LeBron James isn't going to be very happy about this tweet from back in July.

We can't wait to see what his former teammates from Oklahoma City have to say about this.

Or, as Randy Moss once said, "the truth hurts."
