Dustin Johnson withdraws from the Masters

The world's No. 1 golfer won't be teeing off at the Masters.

The world's top golfer, Dustin Johnson, walked to the first tee at the Masters and decided to withdraw due to back pain. Johnson injured his back during a fall at his rental home on Wednesday night.

Despite the injury, he still showed up to Augusta National Thursday with hopes of playing. After hitting a few balls at the driving range, Johnson left the first tee and headed back to the clubhouse.

He was scheduled to play in a group with Jimmy Walker and Bubba Watson.

The 32-year-old was the favorite to win the tournament. He was also coming into the Masters red-hot, having won his last three starts on the PGA Tour.
