Edelman's miracle catch helps Pats pull off biggest comeback in Super Bowl history

Without Julian Edelman's incredible catch, we might not be talking about Tom Brady and the Patriots beating Atlanta in overtime.

Lynn Swann. Santonio Holmes. David Tyree. Jermaine Kearse. And now Julian Edelman.

Edelman became the latest Super Bowl hero with a miracle catch late in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 51, keeping a drive alive that led to the game-tying touchdown and 2-point conversion, helping the Patriots rally from a 28-3 deficit to force overtime and win 34-28.

You need to see the catch to believe it.

Tom Brady's second half and overtime were marvelous after a disastrous first half had New England trailing the Falcons 21-3. When it was all said and done, Brady was 43 of 62 for 466 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception – and a record setting fifth Super Bowl ring, breaking Terry Bradshaw's record of four Super Bowl rings for a quarterback.

James White scored three touchdowns, two on the ground and one in the air. He had 14 catches for 110 yards.

Atlanta is now 0-2 in the Super Bowl. They lost in 1999 after knocking the Vikings out of the NFC Championship game in overtime.
