ESPN will air Apple Valley vs. Minnehaha Academy in December

The schools feature two of the best basketball players in the nation.

Tre Jones of Apple Valley and Jalen Suggs of Minnehaha Acadamey are two of the best prep basketball players in the nation.

Jones, a senior, will play his college ball at Duke University, while Suggs, a sophomore, has yet to announce his commitment, but he has offers from many schools, including the Gophers.

With a ton of talent on the court, the two schools are scheduled to meet up against one another on Dec. 7 and the game will be broadcasted on one of ESPN's networks.

Both teams are defending state champions – Apple Valley in Class 4A and Minnehaha Academy in Class 2A.

Tre Jones, is the younger brother of Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones, who also played at Apple Valley and Duke.

Meanwhile, Suggs also has family members who have been outstanding athletes. His father, Larry, starred at Woodbury High School in the 1980s.

He's also related to Terrell Suggs, who's a standout NFL linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.
