Make it three Vikings to win a weekly defensive award this season.

Defensive end Everson Griffen was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after sacking Aaron Rodgers twice and forcing a fumble that Captain Munnerlyn scooped up and returned 54 yards for a critical touchdown in Minnesota's 20-13 victory over the Packers.

Griffen led the Vikings with 10.5 sacks this season, giving him 22.5 sacks over the last two seasons.

Defensive tackle Linval Joseph and cornerback Terence Newman each won the Defensive Player of the Week award in consecutive weeks in November.
