Ex-Bears tight end Bennett on Cutler: 'Worst quarterback in the NFL'

Publish date:

ESPN The Magazine interviewed the NFL Bennett brothers, Martellus and Michael, and they didn't hold back when giving their thoughts on other NFL stars like Eli Manning, Tom Brady, Jason Witten and more.

But when The Magazine asked Martellus what he thinks of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, he really let loose.

"Worst quarterback in the NFL," Bennett responded. "I'd be open and he'd throw into double coverage."

Bennett played with Cutler for three seasons in Chicago and now he's catching passes from Brady (and Jimmy Garoppolo) in New England.

In those three seasons he racked up 208 catches for 2,114 yards and 14 touchdowns.
