St. Paul native Michael Floyd has been cut by the Arizona Cardinals.

Floyd, a former Cretin-Derham Hall football and basketball standout, was arrested Monday. He was charged with two counts of DUI and one count of obstructing a roadway and failure to obey a police officer, according to ArizonaSports.com. The report says police found Floyd asleep at the wheel with his foot on the brake and the car running.

In 2011, when he was playing at Notre Dame, Floyd was arrested on suspicion of DUI and pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges, the AP reported at the time. He reportedly went to counseling and made changes to where he lived afterward.

The former first-round pick will likely finish his 2016 season with career lows in catches (33) and yards (446). After breaking three fingers during training camp in 2015 Floyd finished strong, hauling in 44 passes for 745 yards and 6 touchdowns over the final 10 games.

Floyd, set to become a free agent, was a USA Today high school All-American and Minnesota's Mr. Football in 2007.
