Ex-Viking QB McNabb '80-90 percent' sure he'll play in NFL again

It doesn’t sound like ex-Viking Donovan McNabb wants to go quietly from the NFL. He tells NBC Sports there’s an “80 to 90” percent chance he’ll play this year and has narrowed his choice of teams down to three.

Donovan McNabb...NFL quarterback? Again? Despite being jettisoned from the Minnesota lineup last year, the ex-Eagle/Redskin/Viking says he's ready to play this fall. Incredibly, he boasts to NBC.com that he's 80 to 90 percent sure he'll back on one of three teams.

The Donovan McNabb era is officially over in Minnesota. Coach Leslie Frazier says the Vikings put McNabb on waivers today, calling it "best for both parties." The move allows the veteran to sign with another team if they're willing to pick up the remaining portion of his $5 million salary.
