The Minnesota Wild suddenly can't win. It wasn't long ago the Wild pulled off seven consecutive wins, but the team is suddenly reeling. The Flames defeated the Wild 2-1 last night in Calgary, sending Minnesota to its fifth straight loss.

Ducks defeat Wild, 3-2

The Anaheim Ducks defeated the Wild 3-2 Thursday night at Xcel Energy Center. It’s Minnesota’s fourth loss in their last five games, and they’ve failed to score more than two goals in six straight games. Jared Spurgeon and Matt Cullen scored for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild trailed 2-0 after one period before storming back for a 4-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets Tuesday night. Cal Clutterbuck scored the game-winner midway through the third period. Niklas Backstrom stopped 43 of 45 Columbus shots.
