Vikings coach Leslie Frazier assured Friday that he's keeping quarterback Christian Ponder as his starter despite the team's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday night, Fox Sports North reported.
Frazier said barring injury, "Christian's going to be fine."
Ponder completed 19 of 35 passes for 251 yards in the Vikings' home loss to the Bucs 36-17. He threw one touchdown pass, one interception and was sacked three times.
The Vikings (5-3) next take on the Seahawks in Seattle Nov. 4.
