Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will play in the preseason, but coach Leslie Frazier still hasn't decided when.

According to the Star Tribune, Frazier will turn AP loose either this Friday night in Buffalo or in the third preseason game at San Francisco.

"We want to do something in these next couple of weeks," Frazier told reporters after the final walk-through at Mankato training camp this year.

The Vikings return to Winter Park Sunday for the balance of the preseason leading up to the regular season opener in Detroit Sept. 8.

"To be honest with you, it really doesn't matter to me." Peterson said. "I'll be ready to play."
