St. Cloud State's season came to end with a 4-1 loss to Quinnipiac at the Frozen Four semifinals Thursday night in Pittsburgh.

The No. 1 seed Quinnipiac jumped the Huskies from the start, scoring two goals in the first 5:07 of the game.

Down by two, St. Cloud State came up empty on a power play, and just seconds after the man advantage ended, the Bobcats struck again to take a 3-0 lead.

Quinnipiac will play No. 15 seed Yale, which knocked the Gophers out of the tournament, in the National Championship game on Saturday.

There's still one thing left to root for if you're an SCSU fan. Drew LeBlanc is one of three finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. The winner will be announced Friday.
