Twins: Gibson earning his way into starting rotation

The Pioneer Press speculates that the Twins starting rotation has four locks: Scott Diamond, Vance Worley, Mike Pelfrey and Kevin Correia. The front-runner for the fifth spot in the rotation appears to be Kyle Gibson, who will make his second spring start on Saturday.

Brian Duensing's first four seasons with the Twins have been unpredictable. Sometimes he's used as a starter and other times he's coming out of the bullpen.

This year should be different. Duensing says he's been told by manager Ron Gardenhire that wherever he starts the season he's going to say. At this point he says "it looks like the bullpen."
