The Minnesota Gopher women's hockey team defeated Bemidji State Saturday night for their 57th consecutive victory. The Gophers beat the Beavers Saturday afternoon 4-3.

Hanna Brandt put the Gophers on top at the 12:43 mark in the third period as she broke a three all tie. It was her second goal of the game, and Brandt also added an assist.

The Gophers trailed 2-1 in the first period when right before the end of it, Kelly Terry found the net for her fourth goal of the season to even the game at two heading into the first intermission.

Then in the second, Minnesota reclaimed a lead when Brandt assisted for Rachel Bona's sixth goal of the season.

Bemidji though didn't stay down long as Hanna Moher pulled the Beavers even, until Brandt scored her second goal of the night.

Despite the one goal win, the Gophers controlled the ice, outshooting Bemidji State 31-21 in the game.
