The University of Minnesota will now play the University of Nevada-Las Vegas two days earlier than originally scheduled. UNLV made the request to move the game from Saturday, September 1 to Thursday, August 30. Kickoff time at Sam Boyd Stadium is still being determined.

The Golden Gophers football team will open the 2012 season with a 10:00 p.m. CT kickoff in Las Vegas against UNLV.
