Gophers beat Green Bay, advance to 2nd round of NCAA Tournament

A monster fourth quarter completed the come-from-behind win.

The 10th-seeded Golden Gophers are into the second round of the NCAA Tournament after Friday's 89-77 win over 7-seed Green Bay in Eugene, Oregon. 

Minnesota (24-8) trailed by 12 in the third quarter before going on a 19-4 run and outscoring Green Bay 30-13 in the fourth quarter. 

Kenisha Bell was unstoppable with 24 of her game-high 26 points in the second half. Destiny Pitts, the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, added 20 points for Minnesota. 

The Gophers will play again Sunday in the second round against 2-seed Oregon.
