Gophers drop Colorado College, 4-2

Sam Warning scored twice and Tom Serratore netted the game-winner midway through the third-period to lift the Gophers to a 4-2 win over Colorado College Friday night. Mike Reilly, Ben Marshall, Zach Budish, Erik Haula and Nate Schmidt assisted on the goals.

Freshman goalie Adam Wilcox, who won WCHA rookie of the month for November, allowed two goals in the second period, but was otherwise perfect. He finished with 24 saves.

Zach Budish added an empty net goal in the final two minutes to seal the victory.

Minnesota's penalty kill was perfect, forcing CC to an 0-4 night on the power play.
