The University of Minnesota uncorked a two-year trial of beer and wine sales at TCF Bank Stadium during the Gophers football game against the University of New Hampshire.
While U of M officials won't release sales totals until mid-week, there are indications that sales were a success. KSTP-TV reports that the wait in line was anywhere from 6 to 12 minutes in line.
Fans had plenty of good reasons to toast their team, as the Gophers trounced New Hampshire, 44-7.
