Gophers get third 2014 recruit, former top national talent Morris

Its been two years since Carlos "Squirrel" Morris was a Rivals top 150 national recruit, but after two seasons at Chipola Junor College (FL), Morris brings his talent and potential to Minnesota.

Morris announced today that he would be joining high school teammate Nate Mason and Seattle forward Josh Martin as a Gopher in 2014, making it three recruits for first-year head coach Richard Pitino in the last month.

Morris averaged 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists per game for Chipola last year, leading the team to a 26-5 overall record.

Minnesota beat out Seton Hall and UAB for his services.
