University of Minnesota (men) 93

The Golden Gophers (4-2) got a double-double from sophomore center Bakary Konate, whose 14 points and 10 boards helped lead Minnesota past Nebraska-Omaha 93-90. The Gophers also got 18 points from Joey King, who went 5-for-7 from the field and hit all four of his 3-point attempts. It's the first of four straight home games for Minnesota, which hosts Clemson Monday. [Box score]

The Gophers women's basketball team got at least 20 points from Mikayla Bailey (22 points) Rachel Banham (20) and Carlie Wagner (20) and took down Stetson in Puerto Ric Friday 72-69. Banham is now 11 points away from setting the Gophers' all-time scoring mark. They play again Saturday, 6 p.m. against Auburn. [Box score]
