The Huskies (10-14-4, 7-10-3 WCHA) netted the first lead, but the Gophers freshman forward Sam Warning went to score the game-winning goal with less than two minutes left in the third. Minnesota is off to Denver in two weeks. The Gophers now lead UMD by five points in the WCHA standings.

The U of M men's hockey team is now 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference. Goals by Zach Budish, Nate Condon, and Kyle Rau plus the netminding of Kent Patterson led the Gophers to a 3-1 win over Alaska-Anchorage Saturday night.
