So far, so good for Twins pitcher Rich Harden, who is trying to get back to the big leagues after shoulder surgery.
Harden threw off the mound today in Florida as Minnesota held its first workouts for pitchers and catchers.
Afterwards he told the Pioneer Press it’s the best he’s felt in six years.
Harden, 31, is signed to a minor league contract. He estimates his arm strength at about 80 percent right now.
The former Oakland A's hurler has a career 59-38 record, with 949 strikeouts in 928 innings.
