The Wild have recalled goalie Darcy Kuemper from Houston to back-up Josh Harding, according to the team's official web site.

Starter Niklas Backstrom suffered a lower body injury last night before the Game 1 of the playoffs against Chicago.

No word yet how long Backstrom will be out. Coach Mike Yeo only said he's day to day.

Harding, who played a stellar game against the Blackhawks, in last night's 2-1 overtime loss, wasn't hanging his head afterwards.

"I thought we played a pretty good game, but obviously (we) came up on the short end," he said. "Tomorrow is a new day."

Harding, who continues to battle multiple sclerosis (but refuses to talk about it), started at the last-minute for Minnesota after Niklas Backstrom was injured in pre-game warmups. He stopped 35 of 37 shots after not starting a game in two months.
