A Twin Cities hockey player is hospitalized in critical condition with two broken vertebrae in his neck after he was slammed into the boards Friday. The Star Tribune reports 16-year-old Jack Jablonski was injured during the Holiday Hockey Classic tournament at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center. The hockey forward and honors student at Benilde-St. Margaret's only has limited movement in his hands and fingers.
