Hockey Day Minnesota forced indoors

The Minnesota Wild, FOX Sports North and Wells Fargo have changed plans for Hockey Day Minnesota. The three high school hockey games that were scheduled to be played outside at Excelsior Bay on Lake Minnetonka, have been moved inside to the Pagal Activity Center in Minnetonka. Warm weather created poor ice conditions, forcing the games indoors.

Hockey Day Minnesota dedicated to the family of Jack Jablonski

Hockey Day Minnesota is a week from Saturday and this year's festivities will be even more special. The Minnesota Wild, FOX Sports North and Wells Fargo will be dedicating the day of hockey to the family of Jack Jablonski. The day will include an all-day telethon raising money for the Jablonskis.

Grand Rapids to host Hockey Day Minnesota prep games

Pokegama Lake near Grand Rapids is the site of the outdoor prep games to be held on Hockey Day Minnesota on Jan. 19. Three high school games are part of the Fox Sports North schedule. Also that day, FSN will air the University of Minnesota-North Dakota matchup and cap it with the Wild hosting Pittsburgh.
