Hockey tourney attendance blew away most NHL games

There's a reason why it's the best high school tournament in the world.

There were 10 NHL games on Thursday and only three of them put more fans in the seats than both sessions of the State boys' hockey tournament at Xcel Energy Center.

The X should be jam packed again Friday with the semifinal games.

  • 8 p.m. – #1 Minnetonka vs. #5 Centennial
