Sunday could be a cork-popping kind of day for the Vikings.

If the Vikings can put the Bears on ice and get some help from teams around the league, the Vikings could clinch a playoff spot. According to ESPN, the Vikings need to win and have one of the following scenarios unfold.

  1. Redskins lose to tie to Buffalo and the Falcons lose or tie Jacksonville
  2. Redskins lose or tie to Buffalo and the Seahawks lose or tie Cleveland
  3. Giants lose or tie to Carolina and the Falcons lose or tie Jacksonville
  4. Giants and Seahawks both lose or tie

You can pretty much cross that second scenario off the list because Seattle is a 14-point favorite against Cleveland.

Based on the Las Vegas odds, scenario No. 3 is the most likely to happen as the Giants and Falcons are both underdogs in their games.

Clinching this weekend would secure a Wild Card spot, but the Vikings can still win the NFC North as long as they're within one game of the Packers entering their Week 17 showdown at Lambeau Field.
